  • A couple of thoughts: Watering lawns and landscapes excessively or carelessly resulting in runoff into driveways, sidewalks and streets. Taking plastic bags from the grocery or other store instead of bringing a reusable tote or two (the plastic bags DO NOT degrade in landfills).

  • Maybe... if the infrastructure is in place for controls.  Don't take marijuana for granted at any time.  I don't smoke but think this is a "gateway" drug... starting here can alter decision making about accessing and using other drugs, e.g. alcohol, tobacco, street and "designer" drugs.

  • What a question!  It stinks that that politicians are of the frame of mind that accepting donations from companies that received or will receive bailout funds is OK!!! Yes, many times over, it should all go back to the bailout fund and not to the donor company.
